(Rosa Alba Distillate Water)

Rosa alba has been grown for its skin-calming properties since antiquity, it's one of those ingredients with a paper trail long enough that the modern beauty industry mostly just caught up to what people already knew. What gets distilled from the blooms isn't a fragrance add-in. It's a functional floral water that earns its place in our SVEDA® formulas.

The natural compounds in white rose distillate do a few things at once: they help quiet inflammation, reinforce the skin barrier, and pull moisture back into balance. There's also a mild astringency to it that gradually tightens the look of pores and smooths texture — subtle, but noticeable over time. And because it's genuinely gentle, it doesn't come with the usual trade-off of efficacy versus sensitivity. It tends to work well on skin that other actives irritate.
